I detailed in another post how I fell into this free 57 Chrysler New Yorker 2 door.
Well, its almost ready for paint. We spent the last two months dinging out and polishing all the trim. Two months is really fast when you understand how much fracking chrome and stainess is on one of these babies.
We were ready to go with stock colors, but now its gonna be a deep metallic green with pearl white roof and inserts. The chrome came out so beautiful it really needs a deep color to set it off.
The former owner had collected all the parts for the complete restoration including all new weatherstrip, and had recently had the hemi rebuilt. It runs like a clock. darn I'm getting excited

Shhhh, be vewy, vewy quiet.... Is that a rabbit in your garage? Or just the worlds strangest looking cat? Seriously though good work, nice to see another chrysler coming back to life, no matter what color it may be.

Those 50's colors are all real nice. The car was originally seafoam aqua and cloud white. It was also a pretty combination. I think that "pink " was called Sunset Rose if I remember correctly. My favorite combination from those years was coral and black. Chrysler had a pink called shell pink, but it was almost beige as I recall.
