This is a neat video, made to look like an old film but the narration is in Spanish. Can someone translate? Wish I could figure out how to embed these here.

He's in Toledo (To-LAY-do) Spain; he likes the car, and describes its features, and the stop signs would say "Pare" in Spanish; Alto means high or tall.

STOP is international, apart from the Spanish first names he's also got a posh double barrelled English surname,I think the plate is a pre 1972 US Forces issue because the 3rd numeral is a 0.

The 60 Polara 4 door hardtop has to be about the sharpest looking four door hardtop ever built ! but then I'm biased

I'm looking at the engine compartment - black fender wells which look to be original paint. This means the car was built in either L.A. or Windsor, ON. I'd like to see the seats. A Canadian built Polara has Matador upholstery.

Ian, I would say it's an American built car. First, the inside window surrounds are chrome. We have a Canadian built Polara, 4 door sedan and they are painted. Second, the car in the video has the wheel discs with the bars. Ours came with the wheel discs without the bars. The car in the video also has the grille type things on each side of the rear bumper. I don't believe they were offered on Canadian cars, along with the bumper guards on the front and rear. Correct me if I'm wrong Ian. I know you're the resident expert on 60 Dodges.

You're likely right about it being a US car. However, my former Polara four door hardtop had inside rear window chrome window surrounds and door top mouldings, which was standard on the hardtops but probably not the sedans. The front windshield however had a painted inner surround ( like the car in this video also). Also my car had front bumper guards and the rear "grille things" ( bumper guards) factory equipped. The spinner wheel covers were not apparently offered on Canadian 1960 Dodges but the current owner has installed them on it. My former car also was a factory loaded job with power windows, auto headlight dimmer, radio, remote left mirror, day-nite inside mirror, brake warning light, rear defogger, Solex glass all around, RF fender mirror, and power-pak ( 4 BBL and dual exhausts). Over the years a satellite clock was added, power antenna was added with a factory knob and switch on the dash to the left of the ign. switch, power swivel seats, and a mirror-matic. It may be one of the most loaded 1960 Polaras around, but of course does not have A/C. However the current owner has an original Chrysler Airtemp under-dash unit with compressor and all the hardware that he has plans to install at some point. He's a retired Chrysler mechanic.

One other difference between US and Can production 60 Dodges was the spare tire location. Canadian jobs had it on the left side floor, while US versions had it mounted over the axle hump.

If you've never seen the headliner of a 1960 Dodge hardtop, it's awesome looking and completely different from Chrysler or DeSoto or Plymouth. It's quite luxurious looking compared to the others, has an outer hardboard surround with 3 ribbed center foam panels separated by plasticized chromed bars. The sun visors are covered in half vinyl and half foam. The foam on mine started to get ratty in spots and at one point I had it replaced with a ribbed courdoroy material in the same colour, which was very close looking to the foam.
