Subject: 59 NYer- reverse lights on when in Neutral?

Location: Hebron, IN		My reverse lights come on just fine when in Reverse, but they also seem to come on when I have the engine running and in Neutral. They do go off when I have the car in Drive (havent't checked 1 or 2 yet due to lack of helper when I thought about it).

Any ideas? Where is the reverse light sensor?

The backup light switch is on the pushbutton quadrant.
