Elite Veteran Posts: 708 Location: Fredrikstad, Norway. (Europe) | Despite the sad front clip, I just love those '61 Dodges Dorsey. That's probabely why I have 3 of them. One Polara and two Seneca. Unfortunately ??? they're all 4 door sedans. And probabely because I, myself, am just as "special" as the '61 Dodge. And do have the abilety to think of my own, to have my own taste comes to cars or comes to women. And have the guts to step aside from the "crowd". Even having my own opinion on things. Now, if I were living in the U.S., I would for sure have bought your convertible for, I belive, a "fair price". I wouldn't have hesistated for a minute. But since I live on the other side of the Atlantic, some people don't seem to like to sell their car overseas, and I most often do not even get a reply on my ads on here or even a reply when I reply to others' ads, it makes it kind of hard for me to aquire your '61 convertible. Even worse, cost of inland U.S. freight (from AR to the U.S. east or west coast) is even more expensive than the freight across the Atlantic to Europe. So, with the sellingprice, the freight and all the taxes and dutys here in Norway, it unfortunately makes it impossible for me to aquire this car. Otherwise, it would allready be on it's way to ME. And I never buy old cars to make mony on them. Only for the pure and genuine hobby interest of restoring and preserving. old fart, master baiter......

Expert Posts: 2905 Location: little rock, AR | If anyone needs different pics just let me know. My old ad of 3500.00 selling price isa NO longer valid. I have it priced at 4200.00. I have it in a dry area in my shop and its not costing me any money.

Elite Veteran Posts: 708 Location: Fredrikstad, Norway. (Europe) | Well Dorsey, I guess turning the price back up again to 4200,oo when it can't even sell for 3500,oo, is a smart move. Especially when a '61 Phoenix conv. (a more expensive model too) with engine, runs and drives, is advertised elsewhere for 5550,oo. Seems like you wont get far with 1350,oo (of which is the price difference) on your car. I've had my say about overpriced cars before, so I wont repeat it. Guess it pays to look around a bit, and perhaps wait until the seller finally realize his old piece of iron is not worth i'ts weight in gold old fart, master baiter. Expert Posts: 2905 Location: little rock, AR | Thanks for your input. I could put it out there for a $1.00 and someone would want me to sell it for 50 cents.

Dorsey, I'll give you 50 cents for it, but even IF your answer is yes, I'll still have to ask the wife if its OK... And yes, that's an offer. Although I'll probably have to still think on it and then offer you a quarter instead... Jared
