I use the Loctite Blue threadlocker a lot on anything that has low torque tightening and a possibility of vibration.
I use the stronger Red Loctite on larger diameter bolts, and the Green Loctite Stud and Bearing Mount for exactly that. High torque applications.
BTW, the Green sometimes needs a heat assist to get a release, so watch it.
As for superglue, I use that on stuff that has low shear (twist/slide) need, such as repair of a cracked part that can be repainted, but does not need ultimate strength. |

Red for larger fasteners and higher torque, not recemended for use on aluminum. Use a good anti sieze compound on fasteners that are removed on a regular basis.... (lug nuts, etc)

You wouldn't believe the strength of some of that stuff. Most do not realize there are different strengths and uses for each.
