I just obtained a pretty nice 61 Fury Convertible. I checked the glove box for a broadcast sheet as described here but found no indication there had ever been one there. Is there anyplace else in those cars that it may be stashed....?
It does not appear that the interior of the car has ever been fooled with or taken apart, all looks original except the seats have been redone.

Thanks, Will.

Will, check under/behind the rear seat, and, please post up a pic of your ride's Paint/Trim data plate---I'm really
curious to see if it was built with a black top on it, or not!!

I have a build sheet for my '61 fury . I hope someday to decode mine so I can have my window sticker I got for the car filled . I would also like to trace the car's history
the car has lived with 3 owners.

You may be able to make a copy of your sheet and adjust the printers settings to the dark side, (no pun intended), to make it readable.

Bottom row : 0715 0228 332 b1 525

0715 0228 - probably under SO NUMBER (Shipping Order Number)
0715 is the Scheduled Build Date - July 15, 1961.

332 - BDY
3 - Plymouth V8
3 - Fury
2 - 2-dr hardtop - perhaps it is a 5?

B1 - BB1 ?? - PNT - Exterior colour

B - Roof Colour - Black
B - Body Colour - Black
1 - Scheme - single tone
Even thought a convertible does not have a metal roof, Chrysler would still layout the paint scheme as if it did.

525 - TRM - Interior Trim - Red cloth & vinyl

The first two rows are the options. However, each number must be lined up with the letter above. Do not know much about Plymouth body tags prior to 1962 (have info on 1960-61 Chryslers) but the letter stood for the option group (engine, transmission, mirrors, etc.) while the number under it was the last digit of the sale code.
