| Wow, that's clever and took a lot of skills to pull it off as far as it is. He should have grafted in a 56 Suburban wagon's tailgate. |

Kinda stoopid.
If you're gonna try and make a truck out of a car, at least follow the concept through like
Ford and GM did and make it semi-utlitarian, with a genuine bed one *could* haul something
in. And the roof ..... really ? For all that work to make a custom, all we could come up with
was that lame idea of a chopped back 36" of the original ?
And fer gawdsake, what's the deal with the painted bumpers ? Is that just to let everyone
who sees the car know that you were too cheap to take them to the chrome shop ? Or is it a
thumbing of the nose at what makes old cars cool - chrome ?
I like the idea. Something like this COULD be very cool. But I very rarely see it pulled off
with the imagination and skills it takes to not look like it was done on the cheap by an amateur.

Location: Parts Unknown | Here's a shot showing a "freestanding" roof for single seat app like a truck in the form
of the 57 Ranchero. Conveniently located for comparison is a 57 Pontiac which appears
to have about the same roofline as this builder chose to use for his creation.
Yeah .... is that all you got, buddy ? C'mon, make an effort !
