Location: The Mile High City | You are at a 1955 De-Soto 4-door Firedome. Under the hood is a 291 cubic inch Hemi motor with a 2 speed Powerflite transmission. This is a good running car, the hemi motor and dual exhaust sound good. The Firedome is about 98% complete, and a perfect candidate for an easy restoration project. Everything is in working order. We just put on new wheel cylinders and a master cylinder, and the brakes work good. As you can see in the pictures, the Desoto has some body problems. The body problems can be easily repaired and the car is real straight. This Desoto Firedome is a nice example of an old 50's Custom, and the front end and grille catch looks all day long. Thanks for looking, give me a call if you're interested, Jack. 208-888-1240 http://boise.craigslist.org/cto/4062032927.html

| Yes, I did, but thanks for pointing it out. I went to see the car, but it needed more work than I am willing to take on at this time. It has rust issues and really needs a lot of restorative help! It would be a great project for someone who has more capability than I at my advancing age! |
