Which is why it has a radio cover plate and no radio - did not come with the optional radio. Should have the 3-speed manual transmission, column shift and no heater. Also, hub caps (not wheel covers), no exterior mirrors, no rear arm rests, no cigar lighter, single speed windshield wipers, no windshield washers, no rear ash tray, no horn ring and rubber floor covering instead of carpets. Your basic no frills model. 0125 - 3096 - Shipping Order Number where 0125 is the Scheduled Build Date - January 25, 1960 211 - 2 - Car Line - Plymouth 6 1 - Series - Savoy 1 - Body Style - 2 door sedan 101 - Interior Trim 1 - Series / Body Type - Savoy sedan 0 - Fabric - Cloth & Vinyl 1 - Colour - Blue WW1 - Exterior Paint Colours W - Roof Colour - Oyster White W - Body Colour - Oyster White 1 - Paint Style - Monochrome For the VIN - 2105110736 2 - Car Line - Plymouth 6 1 - Series - Savoy (non-wagon) 0 - Model Year - 1960 5 - Assembly Plant - Los Angeles 110736 - Sequential Production Number - 10,736th 1960 model car off the LA assembly line. Amazing that such a bare bones car survived. The fancier models usually draw the eye of collectors while the base models are used to supply parts for the fancy ones.

User has resigned from board | thanks bill, this 60 savoy has the A 904 torqueflite 6 pushbutton. has a heater, but i found some metal plugs inside the heater hoses that attach to the water pump.? blocks the water from going to the heater , left them in, wasnt sure if it was a comom fix for a bad heater core or if it came that way from the factory , it is radio delete with the plastic plate, bubble windshield, when i bought it it still had the black plates attached , and looks like it had been amaturaly restored at some point , but the only thing that i cared about was the sheet metal, this car is so clean, clean where ever it spent its life was bone dry , i also own a 65 olds 442 4 speed, that also was from cal, downy cal, and that car is amazingly dry super factory dry, so southern cal, is my choice on finding real nice dry cars, not that theres any left anymore, but thats the place to find them, they survived, my 61 savoy on the other hand was i guess, orig from virgina? or someplace where there was a lot of clay, that car has the undercoating, but huge difference betwen southern dry cal car and pritty much everything else , the 60 savoy , had it on a lift a while back and it still has the brownish color spray on the underside floors with what looks like little dryed drips, the orig slant 6 block is long gone , replaced with a later 5 plug block, i was told it has a 83/4 rear end, not sure on the gears but it feels like the big 354? wounder back in the day who first bought this, a white 2 door no frills 60 savoy shes a runner tho, very quick , i love it not sure if i will go back to all white, like from the factory i may when that time comes, gotta have big balls to have an all white fin car after (Snapshot_20120919_4.JPG) Attachments ---------------- Snapshot_20120919_4.JPG (59KB - 177 downloads)
