Location: Hayward, Calif | Hey Guys, I haven't posted here for awhile, so guess I should catch up. Had my Fab guy cut me some 2 1/4 16 ga pieces to put in underside of the roof. Trying to put that strip up there, get the ends curved and then the right length was turning into a #ricking nightmare. So I cut it off set from center of roof, was then able to get the curved ends in tight and snapped up into place. I got 3 of them set in place and ran out of large C-clamps. I also used some 1x2" sticks to help hold them in place. I call it my 'sticks of shame' But in my defense, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Thought you guys would enjoy these pics. Jerry

Location: Parts Unknown | Ah, ... looks like a snow country car to me too. Whoops ! Guess I shoulda swept that 4' of snow
off last winter !
Those sticks are going to make for an interesting rear seat area when finished. Will you upholster them ?

Location: Hayward, Calif | No doubt about it, this car has been a Challenge ! I told the wife, ' here's another fine mess ya got us into '. But it seems to be a good retirement project and does help smooth out the arthritus kinks in the AM. Jerry |
