Might ???? be one number wrong in their last sentence about '59 1/2 bellhousings being casting number 1736435.

No big deal really, but I have here a bellhousing from a 361 Australian delivered '59 Desoto which very clearly shows casting number 1736436 and '59 parts book confirms this number is right for all B engines bellhousings for '59.

I'll see if I can get some other dimensions off it tomorrow...........
