I want to remove my steering column jacket to paint it. I don't need to remove the column, steering box etc. What do I need to remove? I think I need the wheel off, the two nuts that clamp the jacket to the underside of the dash, the turn signal level... but do I need to remove anything else?
Thanks!

Yes from memory that should be all you need to remove. I'm pretty sure the shaft itself can remain connected to the box coupling and the jacket can slide past.

Location: London, England | Thanks! What's the silver clamp at the bottom of your steering column jacket? Does that need to be undone too? |
