Dont think it would fit on a car with a bonnet, unless you put holes in it?

These were common from the late 1940's-early 1950's. For the poor hot rodder, this was the way to go for quick power and "wow factor". Nowadays, they make reproductions of this and other split-manifold designs and they are seeing a resurgence in popularity. These were primarily designed for the Ford Flathead and other Hot Rod engines of the era. Most of those cars had room under the hood, if you even kept yours on, for installation with little or no problems.
