eBay item 120709535172.

1956 Plymouth Belvedere 4-door Hardtop V8-auto. Original, un-restored, kept indoors the last ten years. Four-barrel Carter WCFB power pack carburetor, dual exhaust, 277 cubic inches, pushbutton Powerflite automatic transmission, manual steering, standard brakes. Engine runs great, sounds strong. Automatic shifts into and out of gear clean and crisp. I've run the engine and transmission in place several times in the last month. All brake wheel cylinders and master cylinder replaced, parking brake cable, new front brake hoses, new brake and fuel lines run to rear, undercoated the entire bottom while on a lift, replaced all missing stainless and chrome trim, changed oil and oil filter, new molded radiator hoses, resoldered radiator tanks. Floors, rockers, trunk pan are all in remarkably good condition, no issues, ready-to-go. Interior floors treated with modern bedliner a few years back. Replaced drivers door latch and adjusted for smooth operation. All glass is good, but needs new front and rear gaskets (Steele Rubber has them). Chrome frames around side glass is all good. Comes with original Aztec fabric material to reupholster seats, and includes a new headliner to install. Includes new right rear door latch that needs to be replaced. Paint has been lightly sanded and repainted in several spots to preserve the metal underneath, especially the drivers door where someone had sanded off almost all the paint in an aborted attempt to "restore" the car. In the last month I sanded in down and smoothed out with filler before doing a quick painting to preserve the door. The whole car obviously needs a thorough paint job, interior re-upholstery, and new wiring throughout. Local delivery available, and I'll help load it on a transporter. But don't count on it driving onto a transporter, the brakes just aren't there yet despite all the work done. Questions? Call Richard at 408-409-6246

On Apr-11-11 at 14:48:30 PDT, seller added the following information:

I've added pictures of the interior. It's the original interior with the special fabrics Plymouth reserved for only the Belvedere 4-door hardtops. But, it's in tatters. I left it all in place to guide my restoration. I managed to score a large piece of the correct original fabric, and I've draped it over the front seat. You can see how perfect a match it is in the shot of the front seat through the open drivers door. The headliner is special fabric too. I bought a new one with the correct fabric, in the pictures it's draped over the right rear quarter. It shouldn't be installed until everything else is finished, so I kept in in a big plastic bag. The right side door lock was installed using an NOS part that includes two keys. The drivers side door lock is missing. The latches in both front doors were replaced with NOS units, and now both open and close smoothly. The fuel tank and straps were replaced last month.

I understand Ken Wilson of San Jose, CA (Cal. Chrys. Prod. Club) has decided to sell it.
