It is illegal to have this in Germany except for disabled people. I never knew why.

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | As far as I remember, some accidents occurred here in Sweden due to jacket and or cloths got stuck on the knob with the result that the driver ditched the car. If you don't have a power steering a bump steer could smack your hand as well.
I would never mount one, way too risky and I find them kind of ugly |
