Location: Nashville, TN | I ordered a set of front brake drums for my Saratoga. They didn't come with hubs, so I've got to find the studs (lug bolts) that hold the brake drum and the hubs together. Does anyone know where I can get a set of five left hand and right hand studs? The instructions that came with the drums said to not reuse the old studs. They are swaged into the hub and drum. |

Location: Nashville, TN | A follow up FYI. I ordered the bolts from Dorman and pressed them into place on my old spindles. I then slid the new brake drum over the original spindle. Next problem, the original wheels would not mount to the new drum because the drum was too large in diameter for them to fit. My solution was to call John at Big M and get a set of original Chrysler brake drum/spindle off a donor car. John checked them out before he sent them for turning tolerance. I put them on and the brake grabbing problem disappeared. I have had a problem with some "after market" guaranteed to fit replacements that don't fit...like the brake drums I ordered from Kanter. I ordered the 12" drums for my 60 Saratoga they didn't fit and did not come with new lug bolts to replace the ones I had to knock out to get the old drum off the spindle. Lesson learned and the Saratoga brakes work fine
