Location: Oley, PA | On my '59 Windsor, the pushbuttons barely light up at night. Not nearly as bright as the transmission buttons. Certainly not bright enough to read at night.
Is that normal? How are they illuminated? Do they have a bulb? I couldn't find one.

Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada | There is a bulb in behind the push button bezel, and the light from it "feeds" through the transparent extensions that the buttons fit over. |

Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada | Check in the area just above the opening for the bulb. Maybe one of the gauge bulbs filters light down to the heater buttons . I once owned a 59 Windsor but don't remember if I ever had an issue with the dash and gauge light bulbs.
