I think they were originally painted with a textured urethane type paint. The early 1960 models had cardboard panels, then switched to steel later in the year. 1961 were all steel, then in 1962 they switched to a textured vinyl/plastic kick panel. They were all basically the same shape.

Expert Posts: 2637 Location: Minor Hill, TN | The back window panel is installed. I tried to get 1 with holes to put extra speakers in the back but I might be better off getting a pair to hide under the seats Edited by 1961plymouthfury 2014-08-04 11:13 AM (2010-01-02 22.59.07.jpg) (2010-01-02 22.59.17.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 2010-01-02 22.59.07.jpg (101KB - 238 downloads) 2010-01-02 22.59.17.jpg (99KB - 235 downloads)

Expert Posts: 2637 Location: Minor Hill, TN | My dad installed it and I helped some . The seats were already redone before I bought the car. Its getting there. I am debating on tinting the windows on the car now or wait until the restoration is finished . Yeah sure you traded that '61 for a riding lawn mover. I wanted to repaint it blue but since its red and white I am going to make it easier by repainting the car the same colors. Edited by 1961plymouthfury 2014-08-04 1:39 PM

Expert Posts: 2637 Location: Minor Hill, TN | It came with the car when I bought it. I do not know were the seller got it. The car was in Beltsville, Maryland when I purchased it. It was shipped here, there were some folks here worried about then but it arrived safely, The car now is under restoration. It will have a new suit ( I am repainting the car black).
