Really prefer the 57 details... Want to do the savoy sport tone trim.

Is your car a Belvedere Sport Tone, or savoy? You are gonna need fenders, lower grille, side trim , Head light trim, fender spears, etc. Marc.

Why? The only styling trim I dislike is the 57 lower grille and you already have the 58 style. To each his own.

Everyone seems to want to go the other way!! Should be able to sell your 58 parts quickly!!

I'd have trouble counting the number of requests that I get that want to install a correct 58 wiring harness in a 57!

The 57 to 58 differences will involve a lot of hole filling and the drilling of new ones, so you
will want to get a nice collection of magnetized copper "backers" together !

Fenders can be made to work with a change of headlight bucket metal. Probably easier to get
57 fenders ... The valance can be easily swapped, is the grille actually different ? Out back, you'll
just need to do minor mods to fit the rabbit ear tail lights.

Mostly, it will be shuffling a LOT of trim and details. The good news is, lots of people want to go
57 to 58, so all that trim ought to be easier to get than going the other way.

I would do nothing to your 58

Sell it and buy a 57, much easier (might even get more for your 58 than what it costs for a 57), then you can look at the new car as a new adventure instead of a re hash of the same old hag oops, I mean car

I would start the search for a 57 now, so you can see what you get for your money, but when it comes to selling yours, remember, you probably wont make anything on it, but you want to sell it for more than replacement cost

I think you should keep it.

If not from Lucy I have an extra pair of 57 tail-lights, a lower grill, headlight bezels, center section, and a lot of other misc. items if you do decide to change it over! Wont be hard to find 57 parts.
