Hi,

I have a NOS new in box, never used fuel gauge for a 61-62 Chrysler. I bought it intending to replace the gauge in my 60windsor (the gauge works, but the needle doesn't illuminate). I just can't bear to look at the incorrect gauge. I would sell or trade for a correct 60 gauge in working order.

Pm me if interested.

Chris, it's relatively easy to repair the light to the wire, take it to an electronics shop and have them solder in a new wire going to the light. I had one of mine done a while back. I took it to a local Audio Video shop and their tech did it for me at no charge.

Maybe jcauto.com has a gauge and will swap. It'll cost if they have one to trade but they are reasonable. They did all 4 of my guages and the blinker. BTW, each of the three years has a different faceplate for the gauge. I have 62 gauges in my 61 cause I think the 62s looked the best.

My own car has a mix of gauges - but they all work - so for now they stay.

Yep, I just added a 62 Temp gauge to my 61. Waiting fo someone that wants to swap. Otherwise I will be happy the way it is.
