Nice to see parts for FL cars but it appears to be very limited.

JC Auto is owned by Jeff Carter, who has been in the business for about 36 years. You probably won't find anyone more knowledgeable on Forward Look cars than Jeff. He specializes in restorations - not a huge retail inventory.

Jeff have a nice inventory, but he is geared more towards to the hard parts like 300's. I'd say 80% of his stock are for FL's. His shop might not look big, but all the parts are stored very compact and in strict order. Everybody that have had the chance to look behind the counter in his shop are surprised on how it's possible to store so many parts in such small space.

What is going on in JC Auto?
I have send 3 emails to their parts@jcauto.com during last 4 weeks but I have not gotten any reply.
I simply ask a Paypal invoice for the casted exhaust elbows.
Is Jeff sick or something or just ignore international inquiries like another fellow in MT?
Or is his email settings doing that?

Has anyone been in a contact with JC Auto lately (last two weeks)?

They have had issues with emails getting lost in their system from international accounts earlier. It have happen to me a few times. They have had experts looking into it, and thought it was fixed by now. Try office@jcauto.com and see if that works better, or give them a quick call. Jeff loves his overseas customers so that's not the case, but things can take some time.

I didn't get any response either, so have just tried again to both "parts@" and "office@".

Still no reply. I don't get it - and I just spent close to $300 there. When I was running a parts business I made it a point to always respond immediately to customers' requests, no matter how busy I was.

How about that. Right after posting the above comment I did get a reply - 31 days after my first inquiry and 9 days after the second, and on a Sunday at that.

Last year I made an order from JC Auto and needed the parts by a certain day to get things done and make it to a show. Actually talked to Jeff on the phone and he suggested two day UPS to get things here. So I paid extra and waited on the parts. Which didn't come and didn't come.

I ended up getting the box as we were loading up the car and leaving and I was pretty steamed. 2 day shipping turned into 5 days or so.

After we got back, I called Jeff and he was a stand up guy about it. We checked the UPS tracking, and while the box came to my town, it then did a U turn and headed back to the midwest or somewhere. Took a trip around the US. It was a UPS error, out of his control but he was still very nice about it and refunded all the shipping charges. Very responsive to the issue and I thought he handled it the best way he could. Not a fan of UPS, but JC Auto gets a thumbs up for customer service from me.

I've used him for quite a few things. I know he's had a rough time with employee's and house fire. We just got in a bunch of stuff from him, with more coming this week. All of the work has been top notch. Everyone hits some rough times, he's getting through his. I highly recommend him and have zero issue vouching for him.
