Location: Williams California | I have quite a bit of aluminum trim for my car that needs re-anodizing, several pieces are close to six feet long and most shops do not have tanks big enough, or do not do Brite-Dip anodizing.
King of Trim [Ano-Brite] can handle this, but I was wondering if anyone else had experience with other shops too. Last time I sent long pieces like this out, I used a place in Lincoln, Nebraska that did inexpensive, but excellent work. Unfortunately, our good friends at EPA put them out of business.

Location: Melbourne, Australia | John, I considered this company in Michigan before, at the eleventh hour, I found a local company doing similar good quality work. The EPA has stifled these businesses and there aren't many left.... hence the expense !!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/63-64-FORD-GALAXIE-FRONT-BENCH-SEAT-UPPER-TRIM-/350986377077?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51b86b1775&vxp=mtr In Australia, I can only find one company that does the Brite dip process; most just strip, rework and polish and leave the aluminium raw.... Location: Kansas City | I can vouch for Bowers. They do nice work and they are reasonably priced. I would recommend though that you have your pieces stripped, straightened, and polished before you send it to them. That will help you yield the best results. Finished product will look dynamite. We do not do anodizing here at Advanced Plating, but we use Bowers when we need stuff anodized. They are a good choice. |

Check out this thread from last year:

You were going to contact them to see if they had tanks large enough for your pieces. Did you ever make contact and are the tanks
large enough? |
