So one of the joys of our 50's engines is the fact that the exhaust manifold bolts go into the water jacket (lower) and oil galley (upper). I have a couple that go into the water jacket that continually leak. What do you guys do to stop these leaks? I have tried the Orange silicone & PFT Paste. Neither have stopped it completely. The PFT paste at least slowed it considerably.

Thoughts appreciated.

I use the "Brown Death" (Permatex) https://www.fastenal.com/web/products/details/0610168 on those and it never failed so far. The surfaces should be clean and dry, least as god as possible.

Permatex thread sealant is the only thing I have had success with. ARP makes a thread sealant that I've not tried. If it is as good as their lubricants for torquing head bolts it should be very good.
