Location: North Australia | Some people say the 1957 Chrysler New Yorker is the pinnacle FL design. So the convertible has to be the rarest of that model. I have never seen a 1957 Chrysler, New Yorker or otherwise in the flesh But, they sure look pretty in the brochure! Well done, nice car, I am envious. Steve.

Jörgen 57 NY conv is probably the best bargians I've seen. (Do not know the price) are some members from US ho do same like Jörgen.Hunting FL cars Edited by Windsor59 2014-11-14 5:05 PM

Expert Posts: 2308 Location: The Bat Cave, Fairborn, OH | I owned a 1957 Chrysler Windsor 4-door sedan in the 1970s but it wasn't as nice as the one you found in the 2000's. It looks like you could drive it today with only a small amount of tinkering. Apart from the fact that it has no top, it seems good to go for a long summer of cruising the car shows in Sweden. Now you've got something to work on during the cold dark nights of winter. Who knows what will emerge in the Spring's warm sunshine from the chryallis of your garage to spread its wings to the sun?

Extreme Veteran Posts: 467 Location: Sweden | Thank you for all the nice comments. The New Yorker only has 43000 miles on it and has been parked in a Montana barn for the last 20 years.
