I'm desperate, I'm looking a compatible carburetor with my car, and works

if I put a carburetor more recent like this, it will work?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/311082199309?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2648&s...

the base of the carburetor looks identical to 1957-1961

Finally I really need help, I want a good carburetor market that works

thank you

Pretty much any carb will work if you can make it fit

There are a few things different on that carb, but at the price it is, who cares

You should give your Carter BBD a complete rebuild. That was the carb that was set up for this engine. Don't try to jury rig a later carb or you'll end up with more problems.

The Carter BBD is a simple carburetor. You should be able to make it run like new.

I have a 2 barrel carb that I bought as a spare for my '58 Coronet with nthe 325 v-8. The spare is for a 6 cylinder engine, but it worked well on my v-8. It looks like new! I will see if it is a Carter or Stromberg. You could possibly make use of it until you find the "correct" one. It has the same air cleaner attachment as your stock one.

my current carburetor is rebuilt

but steel is used

I do not trust to rebuild in France, I prefer to give money to an American

As it works;), I take

at least it is tested, it is most important

thank you for your help

I think I'll buy yours and I'll take this one from ebay

if the good fairy is with me, one of the two work
