Subject: Waterpump rebuild

Looking for someone to rebuild my 1956 DeSoto 330 hemi waterpump. I've contacted a few places and pricing can range from $85 to $150. One place told me that he can upgrade to a more modern seal kit compared to the original by performing a minor machining step. Does this make any sense. He offers a lifetime warranty compared to 90 days or 12 months.
