Wondering why no one reproduces the lower quarters from behind the doors to the wheel well opening on 60-62 coupes. The make repro dome lights, but not the lower quarter... odd. And a lot of expensive restorations seem to have wonky bodywork in this area. Anyone have any sheet metal they'd sawzall off for me? Fabbing it looks tough.

Have a look at these pictures, might give you an idea of whats ahead

I guess they are not reproduced because of how hard they are to make

I tried to make a lower section for my plymouth and the wheel opening did my head in trying to get it to do 50 multiple compound bends

What are you working on? You could pick this up, the price is right and lower quarters look fairly decent:

I know it's pretty far, but you are creative.

That car is pretty solid. Should be a nice driver with a little work.

Impressive work Michael. That 62 would work, and using a parts car is probably my best option. Thanks guys.

One of the reasons my 67 GTO is in storage is because I have been waiting for someone to produce good quarter panels. They are reproduced but are so thin, you have to be careful not to bend them just handling them. I don't understand why they don't even produce the little panel you are talking about between the wheel well and the dog leg. I can understand that our old MOPARs are fairly scarce and may not be profitable to make panels but there were around 300,000 1966 and 67 Tempest/LeMans/GTO bodies produced and there a lot of them are still around.
