Tough to find those old 39/40 Ford sedans anymore. The Mr. Tech ash tray would have been a nice score also. Here is my Mr. Tech and a 1962 Plymouth trouble shooting award. This is the only Mr Tech award I've seen made with wood. In addition to the ashtray, there were two version of the notepad, two perpetual calendars, a desk set with a clock and a gold finished metal piston trophy. I'm sure there were other Mr Tech awards that featured the figurine. There were also plenty of awards with the Master Tech crest on them as well.

That is a possibility althought the patina of the wood and metal statue are a close match. There was also a label attached to the bottom that was long gone when I got it, almost 30 years ago.

Regular Posts: 82 Location: Texas | That's a cool find Dorsey! Once I get the old Pink '59 on the road I think my next project will be a '37 Dodge Touring Sedan. So... if you or anyone else can find any reasonably priced send me the info here to Texas.
