Is the oil pan for 383 the same for a span of years? I need a good one as oil plug stripped and pan damaged. Any one have a good one for sale?

Hola Duane

You have asked a question that gets a "Yes" and "No" and "Sometimes" answer.

Yes Answers:

. Every 350 - 361 - 383 - 400 - 413 - 426 - and 440 all get the same Bolts and Pan Gaskets

.. of a given Year Span - of a given vehicle - the Above Engine choice will all use the same Oil Pan.

The No and Some Times Answers are all year and application applied answer's of other years of The Above Engines.

From this others can help ya, so that you may purchase The Oil Pan that fits to your usage.

**
The "key" is if the replacement Oil Pan has a Slump and sometimes a "dimple" in the same place as yours.
