Gorgeous 1957 300C, 392 Hemi, Push button Torqflight trans. Finished in regimental red with buckskin interior. Very solid, straight car, lots of money put into the restoration of it, paint and chrome is in excellent shape along with the interior. The engine and bay have been restored and done correctly (with the exception of the valve covers, those are originally gold), down to details like stickers and hose clamps. Kelsey Hayes wire wheels were added on along with white wall radials to give this car a great period look. This was the Motortrend car of the year in 1957, smashed the speed record at the NASCAR race in Daytona that year and paved the way for the future of Mopar muscle. With about 1900 coupes made and only 30% accounted for today, these Hemi powered legends are becoming harder to find, especially in good condition

Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada | Nice car - a few things incorrect. I don't think Regimental red was available in 1957, it would have been Gauguin Red.
Nice leather on the seats but the seams aren't done quite correctly. The seams around the pleated sections should be "tucked", or "pulled in".

Location: Connecticut | imopar380 - 2014-10-23 1:22 PM Nice car - a few things incorrect. I don't think Regimental red was available in 1957. A number of 300Cs were special ordered in colors other than the five generally available. I believe there were three produced in Regimental Red. This one, however, was originally white, IIRC. Also, this car may have a non-300C engine. Anyone interested should ask the seller for the engine number. Just FYI. Ron |
