Location: Under the X in Texas | I've never heard of any Torqueflite being referred to as "close-ratio" previously. Really? Scottish leather? One doubter here. Everything he has listed is standard equipment except the PS and PB which 95% (or higher) of the cars received anyway. |

Location: NY & VT | Bridge of Weir leather from Scotland, commonly used in the most TOL cars and restorations, on Rolls, Bentley, some Jags, even Saab Turbos in the '80s. The best known leather there is, been around forever, and was probably used in restoring the leather of this C. |

Location: NY & VT | That may well be, but I was commenting on the source, not the quality, as some doubts were raised about the Scottish leather claim. BoW leather is well known to most restorers.
