Nope...just a standard 3 speed on the floor. The standard trans for Newports (Though most were automatics) and optional on 300s from 1960-1964 on Chryslers Also available on '62-64 Dodge 880s.

Don't forget that in 62 Chrysler made a standard 300 that was mostly fancy trim and may not even have a 413 and also made the 300H letter car. They don't have the same value.

The 3 speed would be a standard Chrysler issue. There were a number of them built that way, with the shifter on the floor.

I presume you are thinking of the Pont-a-Mousson full synchro 4 speed manual box that was, as far as anyone can determine, installed in NINE 300F Special Gran Turismo 400HP cars in 1960 as well as a low percentage of the Facel Vegas of the day in France. No other world cars used this specific "Series II" box.

But, just as a reminder, the new-4-62 aluminum cased 3-speed transmission
was a GOOD trannie.

If I had a 1956+ 3-speed transmission in my ride, I'd definitely be on the
lookout for a 1962+ 3-speed to retrofit into my car.
