Regular Posts: 62 Location: Gansevoort, NY | Powerflite: The site won't allow me to attach files using the "attach a file after posting" box. It gives me a message that the site closed the window... 59CRL: I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. What's a URL? It seems awfully hard to post a photo. I'm totally lost...

Expert Posts: 1352 Location: Springville, CA | Lance, Right click on the picture in 59CRL's post above and choose "Properties". Look at the url (Address) for the picture, this tells you that you have to have the picture stored SOMEWHERE on the Internet besides your own computer for the bulletin board to find it. You will see that 59CRL has an accounrt on photobucket.com. You can also get a FREE account on photobucket.com. Free accounts are limited to (I believe) 25GB of monthly bandwidth and images 1MB or less in size. Loyd

Regular Posts: 62 Location: Gansevoort, NY | The car is just as I purchased it right now. The plan this year is to get the functional and safety stuff done. Next winter I plan to redo the motor, then maybe the paint. When I do, I'll keep the original sea spray green primary color, but the secondary color will change to the factory dark green metallic, which is on the interior parts. I know what you mean about the "Chebby" rims, as I am by no means a GM fan, but I don't think they look too bad. Eventually I want to get the regular "Smoothie" types, without the slots.

Regular Posts: 62 Location: Gansevoort, NY | I think dukeboy is implying that the rims look similar to Chebby Rallies, which they do a little. But, they're not; just aftermarket, retro-style rims. Believe me, if they were Chebby rims, and they did fit, they would not be on my car. Edited by kinglrock 2009-04-02 6:40 PM

Regular Posts: 62 Location: Gansevoort, NY | Well, here it is, six years later, and I haven't done a thing to the car. Seems like there's always something else to get in the way. All the people I used to know who loved this type of thing are not into it anymore for one reason or another, so I don't have any support. And, I really don't have the space, tools, know-how, or motivation to get things moving. I do drive it a few times a year. It always starts right up, but it's not where I want it to be. I've been thinking about selling...

Veteran Posts: 119 | Sounds healthy to me, shifting priorities and interests. It would be very sad to have nothing more than a 56 Plymouth to excite you. Happiness was defined once by someone smarter than me as: having 1. something to do, 2. someone to love, and 3. something to look forward to. For most of us that means a job/hobby, a wife/girlfriend, and grandchildren. How about painting it purple with a 57 Chevy side panel? Regular Posts: 62 Location: Gansevoort, NY | Thanks for the offer, but I would like to keep my Mopar Lane sign. As far as the Savoy goes, I couldn't sell it for any less than $12K. I have more money in it than that, let alone time. Thanks!
