If anyone minds me using this Forward Look forum for help in identifying an antique piece, no problem and I will drop the subject.
I've never seen anything like it and I believe is a tool and I think it MAY be sports related[?]. I have gone to my friends that are into antiques with no idea of what it is and I tought maybe someone here might be able to help?
Again, if this type of question offends anyone, please say so.
Thanks,
Karl.

Ahhh a mystery thing, I think we all like a mystery

A picture would certainly help, but I will hazard a guess and say its a tool for putting cleats on footy boots

No problem Karl, but you should post such things in the sewer instead.

Hi Karl, post a picture. Don't worry about magician's and wizard's, they use smoke and mirror's if they don.t know something.

Hey Mick,
That is so kool. I looked up the company name stamped on this piece and they originally started out in 1853 making cleats for football shoes.
Hey, at least I asked. Its a shame that the die hards don't ask about what is going on in the "Events" section with XIONGY?
later,

We are several moderators that are discussing this already. The problem is that we region mods don't have any board moderator powers - we need to be patient but it's a buttpain for all of us.

That's great but because you can, you don't need to make me feel like crap by telling me my question is sewer talk. I asked!

Absolutely no intention to make you feel bad - all threads that are not related to the FL-topic in question actually belongs in the neither region, wether I post it or you. That said, we all slip from time to time.

You don't have to get on a thread if it doesn't interest you. We are family who help each other out.
Catch ya later.
