Board Moderator Posts: 3186 Location: The not-so-great, dirty-white North ( Michigan) | I really did not know where to post this, as it is pictures of both cars and parts, so I thought this might be the best spot! I have been requested by CanMan and Neil Vedder to post this on the forum in case anybody has an interest in these cars and parts. You need to call Ron on his landline to discuss terms, etc. He does not have a cell phone and evidently no use for a computer. There is a lot more than what is shown, so if you need something, maybe he has it and will part with it without your selling a body part to get the funds! Enjoy...... ***********************************************8 Hey, Rick, I dunno if you can 'Forward' these pics to the website chat-bored, but they show my car's visit, to Ron Mog's garage-complex, on 8/20/06, which show SOME of his cars-&-parts/cars.... He is in Apple Valley, CA couple hours east of LA-area, & only has a house phone (bless his heart!) 760-247-4204. He would like to sell his "complete-but-apart" 300D, his "complete-but-needing-resto" 300B, his running 1969 Charger R/T, his running 71 NY'er (w/440/loaded) , his CHRY parts cars (outside), & a LOT of neat/rare parts, incl three bat-wing air cleaners, a complete 57 NY'er ft clip, WITH 'perfect 2-dr 'brown-ish' interior, and dashboard, (multi-)carbs/intakes/pistons/blocks---he's cataloging/marking his parts, as he gets room/space to shelve them (a lot are still stored in trunks & boxes) His inventory is easily worth a couple hundred thousand, & a computer literate entrepreneur could make a nice living parting out & selling his cars/parts inventory. Neil Vedder----my car is the D500.... ********************************************* (PICT0001.JPG) (PICT0002.JPG) (PICT0003.JPG) (PICT0004.JPG) (PICT0005.JPG) (PICT0006.JPG) (PICT0007.JPG) (PICT0009.JPG) (PICT0010.JPG) (PICT0011.JPG) (PICT0012.JPG) (PICT0013.JPG) (PICT0014.JPG) (PICT0015.JPG) (PICT0016.JPG) (PICT0017.JPG) (PICT0018.JPG) (PICT0019.JPG) (PICT0020.JPG) (PICT0021.JPG) (PICT0022.JPG) (PICT0023.JPG) (PICT0024.JPG) (PICT0025.JPG) (PICT0026.JPG) (PICT0027.JPG) (PICT0028.JPG) (PICT0029.JPG) (PICT0030.JPG) (PICT0031.JPG) (PICT0034.JPG) (PICT0035.JPG) (PICT0037.JPG) (PICT0038.JPG) (PICT0039.JPG) (PICT0040.JPG) (PICT0041.JPG) (PICT0041.JPG) (PICT0034.JPG) (PICT0023.JPG) Attachments ---------------- PICT0001.JPG (42KB - 311 downloads) PICT0002.JPG (62KB - 289 downloads) PICT0003.JPG (40KB - 302 downloads) PICT0004.JPG (51KB - 289 downloads) PICT0005.JPG (55KB - 315 downloads) PICT0006.JPG (52KB - 263 downloads) PICT0007.JPG (55KB - 300 downloads) PICT0009.JPG (56KB - 257 downloads) PICT0010.JPG (55KB - 288 downloads) PICT0011.JPG (60KB - 265 downloads) PICT0012.JPG (58KB - 292 downloads) PICT0013.JPG (60KB - 266 downloads) PICT0014.JPG (50KB - 266 downloads) PICT0015.JPG (48KB - 298 downloads) PICT0016.JPG (58KB - 304 downloads) PICT0017.JPG (47KB - 309 downloads) PICT0018.JPG (46KB - 305 downloads) PICT0019.JPG (57KB - 307 downloads) PICT0020.JPG (47KB - 313 downloads) PICT0021.JPG (46KB - 266 downloads) PICT0022.JPG (51KB - 274 downloads) PICT0023.JPG (54KB - 280 downloads) PICT0024.JPG (57KB - 278 downloads) PICT0025.JPG (37KB - 318 downloads) PICT0026.JPG (48KB - 287 downloads) PICT0027.JPG (43KB - 303 downloads) PICT0028.JPG (40KB - 299 downloads) PICT0029.JPG (51KB - 262 downloads) PICT0030.JPG (43KB - 252 downloads) PICT0031.JPG (51KB - 270 downloads) PICT0034.JPG (46KB - 268 downloads) PICT0035.JPG (46KB - 272 downloads) PICT0037.JPG (49KB - 294 downloads) PICT0038.JPG (48KB - 288 downloads) PICT0039.JPG (44KB - 281 downloads) PICT0040.JPG (56KB - 278 downloads) PICT0041.JPG (81KB - 285 downloads) PICT0041.JPG (81KB - 295 downloads) PICT0034.JPG (46KB - 259 downloads) PICT0023.JPG (54KB - 301 downloads)

Expert Posts: 2721 Location: Minneapolis | Well, either Ron isn't in a real hurry to sell or that new-fangled phone/voice/message/recorder dicatphone thingy is giving him trouble. I have left a couple messages inquiring about that R/T and the Duster 340 to no avail. I'll be about two hours from him next week.

Board Moderator Posts: 3186 Location: The not-so-great, dirty-white North ( Michigan) | Hey...I had my discalimer. CanMan contacted me and asked if I could post pictures. Of course, ALL the pictures require RESIZING just to fit the 100k/pic limit we have. So I do this as a favor, and get grief. What is that saying? "No good deed goes unpunished"? Anyway, yep, we could have suprised him, as I bet neither Neil nor Rick expected the type of response you parts/car sharks made on the poor guy! BLOOD IN THE WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!! Anyway, first successful guy gets the worms!!!!!!

Exner Expert 19,174 posts. Neil passed away 18 Sep 2015. You will be missed, Neil! Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | darn, & I try not to post, here lolol ! Ron's a funny guy; geat mechanic & a great friend; he "wants" to sell his collection, but doesn't NEED to. He DOES, but he "doesn't" (want to sell). Needing-to, & having-to are different matters. If a guy showed up with Dinero en Efectivo (that's CASH, y'all), he could walk/drive away with Charger &/or the 71 NY'er w/hipo 440 engine, the 66 300; even the 'B'. Ron would LIKE to sell the entire parts collection @ one time, & would probably throw-in the COMPLETE, but dis-assembled 'D'. He's got so much stuf, he hardly knows what he's got, going back 30 years. Neil Vedder

Extreme Veteran Posts: 455 Location: seattle, Wa. | Gee, so sorry, I am unfamiliar with the way you guys "communicate"..Now I understand...it is like my stuff..always for sale, if the price is way up there. Okay that was sort of a joke..most folks are willing to sell their years of collecting, at some skyhigh price.

Exner Expert 19,174 posts. Neil passed away 18 Sep 2015. You will be missed, Neil! Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | See, THAT's Ron's "problem", he is NOT a rip-off artist, & he's not "out" to make money. He , just, has accumulated an amazing amount of MoPar goodies. He does not "know" what his stuff is worth, but if a sincere person were to show up @ his place (with an appointment ;-))) Ron could probably be induced to part with some of his stuff . The 1-of-ONE Duster (color/340/4-spd/SPLIT-BENCH/SUN ROOF/FOLDING-rear seat) is for his son; the 56 NY'er will go w/him, to his grave; his STILL-FULL-fuelie 81 IMP he's like to keep. Not pictured is his 63 Dodge CAN 440-model (318 engine, with red/white interior IS potentially 4-sale.) You deal with Ron in person, & if he likes/trusts you, you can negotiate very-fair prices with him. Neil Vedder

Expert 5K+ Posts: 7808 Location: Williams California | I've bought collections of cars and parts in the past from people that were in the same situation. Generally the reason they are standoffish is that they do not want to get taken advantage of, and once word of the possible sale gets out, the cutthroat dealers and the chiselers attack in droves trying to get the stuff for nothing. Most folks selling their collections simply want to get a fair price, and most often want to see their items go to a good home, not to a get rich quick artist. ---John

Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | It's 2015, now, and I think that Ron Mog is FINALLY able to part with his Lawn Ornaments and his HUGE FWLK parts collection....but I know that he'd rather sell virtually all, at one time...to the proper buyer (Swede/European....money talks the International languages....)

What-all do you need to see of his collection? he's got at least three 1966 300's in various states of assembly...a Super 300 could be created from out of them. He's got a black 300D that essentially just needs to be put together. He's got a basket case but complete 300B And a S-load of parts, including three sets of Batwing air cleaners. I can take pics of whatever you want to see.

Expert Posts: 1886 | Such a huge collection of parts. Will take a special someone to really go through all of that. Sadly, doubt he'd want to sell at a price that made it worth someone's while to go through it all. Hopefully someone gets their hands on the car.
