| I looked at a 55 DeSoto yesterday. 4 door Firedome. Pink/white top. Top is original paint. The pink was redone in the 80's and is nice. 80,000 miles and most from the original family. Very nice body. Interior is original and nice. Does need new floor mat. Small Hemi that runs great. Car drives out nicely. Chrome and trim good. The only deviation from stock is a new dual exhaust put on last year. My question, being I am a muscle car era guy, is what is this car worth? Thank you in advance. |

Location: Peoples Republic of Oregon | The better question to ask is, how much are you willing to pay? Value is subjective on cars, based on what the market will bear.
Put this address in your browser, it shows a lot of inventory and mark the cars that have sold...what we don't know is the selling price, just the asking.

In this area I offer about $2500...but then I don't need another car. |

Location: NY & VT | 2500? Offer and worth are 2 different things. Based on over 40 yrs in the ForwardLook hobby, having owned over 20, in today's market I'd say a good running and driving '55 DeS 4 dr. with 80k in that kind of condition is worth more like 4+ K... imo.
