Contact Browne and Sons Auto Salvage in Sunset, TX. Last time I was there, he had over a dozen '55-56 Dodges. I'm confident he will have what you're looking for.

Their place is north and west of Fort Worth, so quite a haul from where you are located. But you could drive there and remove the part in a day easily. I also think he ships parts. Good luck!
