/60 savoy/ not sure what its called, where the water would run of the roof , into this channel , theres seems to be some type of kocking/seam sealer that runs the length of the channel , should i leave it in place , can it be sanded , should i sanded it  to remove remnants of paint, id hate to have new paint lift from that spot   what should i do  remove it, leave it, sand it smooth, replace it   thanks  oh my 61 savoy has it also, under the orig paint,   i think it might be  seam sealer

Location: Parts Unknown
The material is referred to as Au-vi-co .... or perhaps that is the brand name ???

Been a while since I bought it, but my local auto paint store carried it in the typical
small size caulk tubes.

The factory used it to seal all the seams. You will see it on the cowl and other places
where original paint often survives, but wasn't a "showy" part of the body.
