Hey Tim,

Been there but I've always been told that you should never put different bearing sets together especially if they are used. Even new, manufactorers may be very slightly different.

I built a new driveshaft and did away with the trunion joint. I have a rebuilt kit that I am not going to use and am just now listing a NOS or maybe its NORS[?] rebuild kit for a 1960 Plymouth under "parts for sale" on this forum. I see them listed from $70 to 120 give or take and I am asking a lot less. You haven't said a year but I am guessing they all are the same?

Karl.
