1959 Desoto Adventurer 2 door Hardtop.
Production: 1 of 590. Seriously rare desirable collector MoPar.
126 inch wheel base.
High performance 383. 350 bhp.
Twin 4 barrel's.
Numbers matching unmolested rocket ship!
Most pot metal needs restoring.
The engine bay appears to be complete and original, though engine does not turn.
Floors, rockers, trunk floor, front fenders and most lower areas are very rusty, and would need replacement panels.
Needs total restoration.
All body panels are very, very straight.
The rear springs are broken, but it is sitting on springs from another car.
The front bumper over riders are the only things that I can see missing on this car.
Options include power steering, power brakes, heater, rear window defroster, swivel seats, complete interior, tinted glass, dual antennas.
Stored since 1972.
Has near perfect condition original leather hide finish painted roof.
All stainless is in very good condition.
All gold inserts in the side trim and rear bumper are in very good to excellent condition.
Plastic badge inserts are near perfect.
All 4 gold centered Adventurer hub caps are on the car and in good condition.
Original rims.
Glass is good except for a stone chip on the passenger side of the windshield.
Original headliner is still there but needs restoring.
Two tone steering wheel is in near perfect condition.
The steering wheel center piece looks almost new old stock.
Most of the original interior is still intact.
The inner door and rear quarter panels are in good condition.
Dash pad and rear parcel shelf have survived and are in fair condition.
It has all the hard to get parts in near perfect condition and would make a very nice restored example.
An extremely rare piece of finned MoPar history.
