Veteran Posts: 191 Location: Nebraska | I got the driver's side buffed last night. I still need to hit it a little bit more to remove some haze. Veteran Posts: 191 Location: Nebraska | I'm getting close to having it all together. Wish I had some better bumpers. I guess I better start saving my money for some. (58back.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 58back.jpg (45KB - 149 downloads)

Posts: 19146 Location: bishop, ca | One thing to look at/check-out, with a re-chromed bumper, is its inner sides and surfaces, to see how much, if any, banging-out and straightening work that that item required, as part of its 'restoration'...and, also, it will show the attention to detail that the repairer/chromer exhibited in his work product. This inspection is very informative, and is akin to looking a (gift-) horse in the mouth...to check on its age and health status.

Veteran Posts: 191 Location: Nebraska | Finally got the car out to a show. I still have some stuff to do but it was nice just to see it out with other cars.
