Expert Posts: 2312 Location: Arizona | The main problems people have with picture posting is one of two things... 1) the size of the file cannot exceed 250K. If you are resizing it's a good idea to make the photo no wider than 1024 or 1280 pixels so it will fit on most screens. 2) in order for people to see the picture the file name must end in jpg, not jpeg.

Expert Posts: 3480 Location: Montreal, Canada | I have been posting pictures on this site for almost ten years so I know how to do it. Neil is correct, it's the board that's not entirely back since the crash. Edited by soiouz 2015-07-28 7:16 AM

Expert Posts: 4064 Location: Connecticut | David - Create an album on picasa, shutterfly, flickr or the photo sharing site of your choice. Then you don't have to be concerned about resizing and it allows you to view the images as a slide show. Be sure to make the album public so everyone can see it. Ron

Expert Posts: 2312 Location: Arizona | Linking to Picasa or elsewhere is a good way to share stuff but it has the drawback that it doesn't create a permanent record here for people who might come looking for info 2 years from now. If someone's picasa album disappears the photos disappear with it. Not a big deal for a lot of photos but for technical stuff it's nice to have the actual photos uploaded so they become a permanent record.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 7207 Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada | The road trips are great!! We just took a 700 mile trip from Vancouver Island to The Dalles, Oregon and back, to the WPC Northwest Regional Meet, around 700 miles total. I'll get some pictures up too, soon.

Expert Posts: 1493 Location: Jamaica Plain, MA | I agree with Sid about the side trim. It looks great in it's variant form on the 57 DeSoto, too. I also really love the 58 Dodge nose, even though it's often overlooked for some of the others it has a bad-ass look to it, and goes so well with the US Plymouth body. It's interesting how similar-yet how different the 58 Dodge front bumper is from the 57-8 Plymouth. Other automakers would have re-purposed the plymouth bumper. It sort-of even fits in real life, although it's obviously mounted lower. Also, David, that color is really amazing. I've seen many pictures of your car-- in different lighting situations it goes from looking like a dark grey-green, to a light misty green. Is it a stock color? I think my '57 DeSoto would look good painted as such, as long as you don't think I've infringed on your palette. Edited by JT Vincent 2015-07-29 8:17 PM

Expert Posts: 2004 Location: Branson, MO | Love it, Love it, love it! I especially like the picture taken in front of the church with the T-Bird. That one can be framed. I too like the " '57 DeSoto" take off of the color sweep plus the color combination is a dandy. Your car is really a beauty and I can tell you take pride in owning it. Thanks for sharing. Expert Posts: 3480 Location: Montreal, Canada | Thanks to all for the good words! That '58 T-Bird is my dad's! Pretty car, too, I think. About the colour, I like it too. Unfortunately, the paint doesn't look good in real life and it will have to be redone. I plan on having that work done at the end of this year. The colour on it now is very close to the original canadian spring 1958 special "Willow Green Metallic", which was just a bit darker. I think the former owner told me he used 2006 FordMustang Lime Green Met. The off-white parts were originally "sunshine yellow", a canadian colour very close or same as US "sunflower yellow". I will restore it back to the original colour scheme. I too love the colour sweep on it. I call that side trim the "rocket"! I think it will look fabulous in green and yellow!

Expert Posts: 1493 Location: Jamaica Plain, MA | I saw a 2015 Ram with a metallic graphite color that was distinctively greenish. I haven't had the time to research this color, because you can't see how it presents on the on a computer screen. I must get a 2015-16 Dodge color-guide brochure, in hard copy form. I like almost any choice on our cars, but I do have respect for subtle colors on these wild shapes. It's a sweet contrast, in my opinion.
