Member Posts: 26 | Hi Mike .....I hope he hasn't got my tail lights cause he would have had to break into the trunk to get um! lol ....I took them off so they wouldn't get damaged in transit .....I will check him out though as I'm going to need a parts resource or two when I start going through it all. Thanks for the reply regards Kevin

Veteran Posts: 158 Location: Ottawa, ON | Hi from germany! Very nice car you got there. Looks like a good basis. Also red and black is a pretty cool combo. I would also appreciate a few more photos. You wrote the car is going to Britain. Maybe I can help you with the fender script and the hood letter (which one do you need?). Might be cheaper than shipping it from the US. Here is a pic of my baby: Edited by Polara61_383 2015-08-11 6:39 AM (11811557_938684886170247_8424831716107526163_n.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 11811557_938684886170247_8424831716107526163_n.jpg (115KB - 163 downloads)

Here is a pic of my baby: Hi there, guten abend! ....well actually its morgans now as ive been in the garage putting a Rambler wagon back together ....but that's another story! I would be interested in the right fender script if you have one? and I need 2 letters, D & E for the front .....it reads 'DOG' at the moment! lol! Your 4dr is a baby alright ....I hope you kiss her goodnight everynight. I will post up some more pics this week, its a bit of a shuffle having to resize the pics constantly but I will sort them to smaller file sizes, She needs front floor pans and some rear quarter work, nothing I haven't had to do before, engine needs a rebuild, seats need doing so its going to keep me busy alright but I don't care as I've wanted this car since I saw it 5 years ago, the family just weren't ready to part with her until now. Regards and thanks Kevin UK

Expert Posts: 2905 Location: little rock, AR | If Chrysler had just thought things through all of the dodges could have had those tail light and made a lot more money by making 1 body style. Less $$$ spent on tool and dye and inventory ... People don't know what they are especially at car shows. Nice car.

Veteran Posts: 158 Location: Ottawa, ON | Well I kinda like the "jet pod" tailights of the polaras. But I also think that it is very good everbody has their own taste so we can all have the cars that we want. You could exchange your hood letters, so that it would read "GOD" :-D I'm pretty sure that I do have the script and the missing letters. If you want you can PM me and we can talk about it. only problem is i have not even a slightest clue what they are worth ;-)

Expert Posts: 2312 Location: Arizona | Nice. Was that center rubber-faced bumpette in the rear bumper standard or an extra cost doodad? I don't' recall seeing one before.

Member Posts: 26 | Thankyou for your comments chaps! anyone got any info on push button trans or ebrake set up for these cars? I will get a manual for this car shortly but ive never had an ebrake of this type and would like to know how it functions, .....same with the push buttons for the trans, are there cables behind them?? .....any do's and don'ts regarding either of the mentioned?? many thanks Kevin

Veteran Posts: 158 Location: Ottawa, ON | What do you want to know? Yes, both the e-brake and the transmission are cable-operated. if the e-brake doesn't work, it might be that the cable is rusted solid. the e-brake operates on the driveshaft, directly behind the trans. feel free to ask. by the way, you've got mail ;-)
