There's a '57 DeSoto 2 dr h/t for sale on a lot on Industrial Blvd. in Pueblo West, a two-headlight red/white job.

I'm sorry, but I don't get down there very much any more. But although it is behind a locked gate and high fence, it was evidently put there for display and sale. The place has other old cars as well.

Location: The Mile High City | Joe, I went to the Fall Colors Cruise yesterday and the subject of this car came up. Apparently, a similar car showed up to the Southglenn Mall show earlier this year on a trailer. It was a tan and either gold or brown car (I think a four-headlight car) that was rough, but complete and running. He was going to send me the pictures from the show. It is amazing that two of these could be for sale at the same time here in Colorado!
We missed you at the cruise. I talked to a few of the Southern MoPar fellows and sang your praises! |

I was down south today and the one there is definitely a rusty red with a white roof and lower "swoosh." It also has some kind of custom chromed or stainless wheels and has quite a bit of cancer, though the tail light exhausts lookedf pretty good. I did get a telephone number for anyone interested: (719) 252-0071.

| More info on this car:
It's a Firesweep and the guy peddling it is named Jim McQuire (sp?). Supposedly, he sort of looks around for odd-ball cars to market, from jobs like beat-up Anglias to fairly nice triple-nickel Chevys.
