Location: Buena Park, CA | Cool cars are cool cars, door count is irrelevant. Very nice Desoto. |

Location: Connecticut | Hey Dean - Were you able to get the shoes aligned to the drums ? I heard that the pre-57 brake shoes were a bear align without THE TOOL (aka the brake alignment gauge). Ron |

Location: North Australia | I have seen this car in person. Looks better in real life than in the pics. I also know the Owners now, nice folks from Bawston!.
Imagine my surprise, walking out into the car park at 4 in the morning (Too excited to sleep, and looking for FL cars!) at my hotel in Carlisle and seeing this car and a 56 Fireflite parked next to it, amongst a field of shapeless modern cars.
I have been a fan of 55 and 56 DeSotos for some time, and these were the first I have ever seen in the flesh. I stood out there for a long time looking.
Good one Dean, beaut car, I love it.
Steve. |

Location: Upstate NY | I love 4 doors. I know I am one of the few, but your car is a knock out. The colors are so of the time. |

| Wow, thanks for all the compliments. You are all too kind. Actually, I like the 4 doors (I cannot afford a 2 door anyway).
Steve, I wish you could have floated your beautiful Imperial over for the gathering. I would love to see that "in the flesh".
Ron, just really digging into the brakes. I don't think they need too much work, I do not have the TOOL. I have been concentrating on the other car for a while now.

Location: Ocean Park, Washington | My 56 Windsor is a 4 door sedan and with the fins and the curving of the rear window, it will be great when I finish this very long process. I didn't find any 2 door cars in my area that where priced right. |
