Elite Veteran Posts: 1049 Location: Auckland, New Zealand. | Hi all. Looking for a source/supplier of rear leaf spring front eye bushes for a 57/58 Plymouth. My nos 55 year old rubber bushes did not last long before cracking up which is not surprising for 55 year old rubber. Do not want Chinese so don't suggest Kanters please as that is all they sell. Part # 1630-303. Glenn.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1049 Location: Auckland, New Zealand. | Steve, Johnny, Wayne. Thanks for the suggestion. I am in contact with Laura at Espo Springs and Things now and yes you are right, she is very helpful, they have the bushes which are Made in USA (!) AND they are very reasonably priced. ($20 the pair/Auto Zone wanted $34.95 each and theirs are probably chinese.) I think I will be stocking up. While I am in here does anybody have a source for the canvas interliners that go between the leafs at each end? Some have 1 button and some have 2 buttons. And also the insulator pads that go above and below the leaf spring set at the diff. I had nos of these when I restored my Fury and the few thousand miles that I have done since then has killed these 58 year old parts and they also need replacing. Glenn. Elite Veteran Posts: 1049 Location: Auckland, New Zealand. | Sorry Vincent. I must have had a brain freeze when I wrote Johnny. How is your 58 coming along? I always thought you lived in France? Did you move to Belgium? Glenn. Chrome58 - 2015-09-09 7:56 PM FURY - 2015-09-09 12:27 AM Steve, Johnny, Wayne. Expert Posts: 1316 Location: Belgium, 40 miles south of Brussels | My car should be on the road this winter. At last ! More on that later ... I moved from France to Belgium 2 years ago, but really it was only a 50km hop, from one side of the border to the other.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1102 Location: Hayward, Calif | When I did the rear leaf springs on my 59 Dodge, went to a local big truck spring shop. He had the spec's on those springs and checked the arch. He also had those insulators at the end of the leaves. They are kinda plastic/nylon and fit nicely. I got what I needed for both springs, seemed like it was about $10-12 for all of them. He also told me that insulator that goes under the center of the spring pack is no longer used. Don't worry about it, mount your springs and continue on with your restoration. So that's what I did.
