Hi all,

I'm getting my 58 Coronet ready for the big winter project which will be to get the power steering box rebuilt along with the pump and fix the rats nest of wires under the dash. Now I have the service manual as well as the parts book and so far I haven't been able to find a clear picture of how to disconnect the column from the box. I know I have to remove a retaining clip but is that clip in front of the flat washer or between the flat washer and the bearing as I think I see two separate retaining clips.

Thanks,
Sam

Never mind, I figured it out. There was a conical washer that's split behind the flat washer. It looked like a second snap ring
