Location: London, England | Hi all,
Now I have my windlace, carpet and trim polished I'm ready to start putting it back together! However, when my floorpans were replaced any windlace clip holes below the door went with the old floorpan.
So, are there supposed to be clip holes below the door, or does the sill plate just hold the windlace in place? Or does the windlace stop just past the ends of the sill plate?
Thanks!

Well, I haven't looked at a Plymouth, but I'm assuming (sometimes wrongly :p ) that my Chryslers are the same. There are no holes below the door. The ends of the windlace tuck under the sill plate. |

Location: London, England | Thanks - having looked at the original sheetmetal on the other side of the floorpan to sill join, there are no holes that side. Looking at some pictures on the net, other manufacturers did the same, and I couldn't see why Plymouth would spend money on stuff that couldn't be seen and served no purpose!
That's saved me some time - I hope to have at least one side done at the weekend! |
