Location: Hickory, NC | I have my 1957 Plymouth Savoy 4dr sedan up for sale. This is a very early production car with the wide slot lower valance. It is the somewhat rare Jade green color.
301 Poly V8
Powerflite 2spd pushbutton automatic
The car does run and drive. Engine seems to run fairly well. Valve cover gaskets have been replaced. Oil and filter change. Has a spin on filter adapter. Engine will need typical tune up and what not from sitting for so long.
The transmission operates and seems to work as it should. You can drive the car around but it has no brakes. The e brake works well to stop the car.
Has brand new radial tires on painted rims. Has a set of the correct 57 full wheel covers in nice shape. Lights and gauges all seem to work. All the glass is good. The front windshield is a new replacement. Car also has the vent shades over door windows.
The body is in very good shape with only minor exterior rust repair needed. The hood, decklid, and one fender were repainted by the previous owner. It looks really nice actually! This cars color is quite nice. The car will need floor pans. And minor patching in the trunk. Interior needs fully redone.
Asking $3900. Clear title. Let's deal!

Location: Perth Australia | I am not picking on it, but thats the funniest way to set up brakes I have seen in a long time
Probably part of the reason its brakes dont work
Not hard to fix though

Location: Hickory, NC | That was the work of the previous owner... Use a dual master but plumb both reservoirs into one line. I never tried putting any fluid in it...maybe it kinda works? I figure the brakes just need to be all replaced anyways. |

Location: Perth Australia | It would probably work if you only plumbed up 1 reservoir
Having both hooked up (to my way of thinking) would require twice the effort to push the pedal
Looks like a good car
I wish you luck with your sale
