I would like to know where I find numbers on how many made and how many survive, I have seen listed in discussions on here and wonder where this information comes from? I know that many on forward look net are very knowledgeable but would love to know just what I have so not to run my mouth too much and not have documents to show my findings. to my knowledge 1378 vert made and less than 24 survive.

The real answer is nobody is quite sure. I know one of the members here did some excellent and time consuming research (went through the production information at Chrysler Historical) and according to him 1,913 Coronet, and 1,426 Custom Royal Convertibles were produced. I think your information on 24 survivors is wayyyy off and probably came from someone who was trying to drive up the price on their car. Since their is no registry, anybody trying to put a number on "survivors" is pulling it out of their rear.

I see Hagerty also has value rather high, must be either rare as hell or sought after model but the gentleman that shared the stats with me on here shows cornet break down and custom royal break down and lot more cornets than royals and he also used historical society but nonetheless wishing for definite but since no registry kept won't be able to establish this, I am in Indiana and am betting I don't see another at a show this year here. either way I was hoping for a library or book other than wpc that has info on these fabulous cars

Only one 56 Custom Royal Lancer Convertible was exported new and sold in Sweden 1956. This car is remaining in Swden and now restored to the highest standard.
